Pencils, Japanese ink, rapidographs, watercolors, acrylic, pastel and fine aquarelle paper are my good and faithful friends. I am looking for everyday, simple and sensitive situations to make them magical. My inspiration comes from a botanical world, a world of folk ornaments. I hope that people who see my creations will feel the joy, optimism, mysteriousness and beauty that is in simplicity.
In my works there are European elements (I was born in Lithuania) and their connection to Israeli elements. Such a combination creates a sense of togetherness and wholeness. Houses, landscapes, romantic and naive people, Hebrew letters - I find all these interesting and fascinating me and they find their way to my works.
I trust my audience and hope that the viewer will feel sparks of happiness, although there is a touch of sadness in my works ...
